Auction Policies

While many of these policies are specific to eBay only, they apply to all of our auctions:

We strive to do our very best to list every detail of every item as accurately as possible. All information is listed as accurately as possible and to the best of our knowledge and ability to help the bidder with their bidding and purchasing decision. There are NEVER any hidden details or known defects that are intentionally left out of any listing or description regarding our auction items.

Please remember we are not your local department store. We do not have the resources to provide customer service all hours of the day and we do not offer technical assistance or advice.

Please refer to the manufacturers website or their customer service department for any information regarding technical assistance for a product.

Please Note: We cannot and will not be held liable for bidders not reading the auction description or our policies prior to bidding or buying. We strive to do everything we can to help keep eBay a great community, however, regardless of every precautionary measure taken, it is the bidder's responsibility to make sure they read the auction listing and our policies section.

There is a RISK for buyers anytime you purchase any product online. The prices we often sell great merchandise for are reflective of the risk taken. That risk can be minimized if the time is taken in advance to read the information provided so that you know exactly what you're bidding on.

We reserve the right to do business with whom we choose. We reserve the right to cancel any transaction prior to auctions end or after the auction has ended. Should the bidder threaten, slander, or be deemed as using unnecessary action or inappropriate behavior, we will consider the transaction to be voided. In which case, should payment have been made before the item was received or shipped, all monies will be returned. Any interference with our normal course of business will result in legal action. Any personal threats to bodily harm or otherwise will be taken up with your local law enforcement authorities and appropriate charges will be filed along with any other further course of action as deemed necessary.

 

Payment Methods

We accept every major credit card and e-checks through Paypal along with money orders and cashiers checks made payable in U.S. funds. Sorry but personal checks or any other form of payment is not accepted. All international bidders are liable for any duties, taxes, brokerage fees and / or any other monies to be collected by their governing country. International bidders must also submit payment in U.S. funds made payable via Paypal or money order.

 

Sales Tax

Sorry, but the law of the land says Colorado residents must add 8.6% sales tax. All other states need not apply sales tax.

 

Payment Terms

Payment must be received within 7 days of close of auction. A response from the winning bidder after the auction must be made within 3 days or we will determine the auction to be void and the item resold.

 

Shipping Terms

Item will ship upon receipt of payment unless payment is received after 1:00 p.m. C.T. or on a holiday or weekend, in which cases the item will be shipped the following business day. Most items will ship insured UPS ground within the 48 contiguous states unless UPS air service is requested, in which case air charges will apply. Alaska and Hawaii shipments will also incur air charges. Sorry, but we cannot ship to APO/FPO addresses or P.O. boxes.

We solely reserve the right to choose alternate shipping methods and carriers such as but not limited to USPS or FED EX and also reserve the right to choose any truck carrier in cases of bulk or palletized truck shipments. When possible, these alternate shipping carriers / methods will be stated in the auction listing although we reserve the right to change shipping carrier / method when deemed necessary even if the shipping method posted in the auction is different.

Winning bidder pays for shipping charges unless otherwise stated. All shipping charges as stated in the auction description are fixed and are non negotiable.

We do not offer zone based shipping. Combined shipping is offered on multiple items as long as the items can be shipped in the same package. However, the bidder must contact us by email after the auction to notify us with the items and item numbers won and we'll send you the combined shipping charges.

Due to instances of theft, all shipments will be shipped under our account number. We will not ship any item under any other shipping account number.

You may request your preferred carrier. Please note: If shipping charges exceed those of the auction listing, unless you paid the additional charges, we will ship your item as stated in the auction listing.

 

A NOTE ON INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:

Some items we do ship internationally and some we will not. The auction listing will state where we will ship the item too. Whatever locations the auction listing says we're willing to ship the item, then that's where we are able to ship the item. If the listing does NOT include the location you want the item shipped, I'm sorry but we will NOT be able to ship the item to that location.

Shipping charges to Canada will be listed in the payment and shipping information section of the auction listing. Just add the Canadian shipping charges to the final auction amount and pay that total. Note: If you do not pay the correct amount of shipping charges, we will NOT be able to ship your item! If you want the item shipped to Canada, please make sure you add the Canadian shipping charges and NOT the U.S. charges to the final auction amount.

We do NOT falsify any paperwork for any purpose for any shipment! That is a violation of international law and we will NOT break any laws to do business.

 

Feedback

There are many satisfied customers who never leave positive feedback simply because they don't participate in the feedback forum. Because we appreciate and value positive feedback, in an effort to encourage others in the eBay community to participate in the feedback forum, positive feedback is only left when it has been received. To leave feedback:

1. Click on the "My eBay" tab at the top of any eBay page and sign in.

2. Click on Feedback.

3. Click on the "Leave Feedback" button on the top of the page.

 

Bid Cancellation

We reserve the right to cancel any bid(s) for any reason from any bidder(s).

 

Local Pick Up

Local pick up is available. Should you win the auction, simply contact us and we'll coordinate a time to do so. There is no fee associated with local pick ups. Note: We do NOT meet for local pick ups. If you want to pick up your item, simply contact us and we'll give you the details.

 

Hours

Monday - Friday between 8:30am and 4:30pm M.S.T. Closed on weekends and holidays. We try to answer all email as quickly as possible. However, any correspondence occurring after hours that is not answered may be handled the following business day.

 

Contact Information

After the auction, all winning bidders should receive a Winning Bidder Notification email which includes all necessary transaction information. We continually keep you updated throughout the entire transaction process with all information regarding the auction by email. If you do not receive any email from us, then we may not be getting your emails or you may not be getting ours. Here is what to do:

A.) Please make sure your correct contact information and email are updated in your eBay account and then resend us an email if you have updated it. Often, bidders can't be reached because they have failed to update their contact information when it has changed.

B.) If your information is current, then The MOST PROBABLE CAUSE 99% of the time is that many of your legitimate emails are often caught in spam filters and you don't know it! Though not a 100% solution, here is what to do to help avoid this problem:

*AOL users: Place the domains thetoycrypt.com and thecollectorscrypt.com in your Address Book.

*Hotmail Users: Place the domains thetoycrypt.com and thecollectorscrypt.com in your Safe List. The safe list can be accessed via the "Options" link next to the main menu tabs.

*Yahoo! Mail: If email is filtered to your 'bulk' folder, open the message and click on the "this is not Spam" link next to the "From" field. The same goes for any other e-mail you receive that doesn't belong there.

*Other email services: Place the domains thetoycrypt.com and thecollectorscrypt.com on your email filter's whitelist and to your address book. You may need to search your email help menu for details on how to do this. Depending on software/ version, they may call it a "good list" or similar name.

If you're not receiving any email, please contact us and we'll resend the necessary information to you in a timely fashion.

 

Return Policy

All items are described to the best of our ability and are sold AS - IS unless otherwise stated in the auction description. There are NO returns, exchanges, refunds or cancellations of any kind and ALL SALES ARE FINAL! No Exceptions!! We will not take any returns, make exchanges or refund for any reason (unless stated otherwise in the auction description and) EXCEPT for the following conditions:

* We sent the wrong merchandise.

* Electronic items are DOA. (unless otherwise stated as DOA in the auction description in which case there are no refunds for merchandise that is DOA).

In the event an item is governed by the above criteria, you will need to contact us by email within 7 days from receipt of delivery (unless otherwise stated in the auction description) with the detail of the defects of the product. Be Sure to include the item # and a description of the problem. Any attempts after 7 days of receipt of delivery will be denied. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.

In the event an item is governed by the above criteria, any DOA merchandise will be exchanged with the same merchandise. If a replacement item is not available, we will issue a refund for the final winning bid amount paid.

Please Note: No refunds or exchanges will be given until the original product is returned and received in the same condition it was sent in unless otherwise stated. Customer is responsible for freight costs on returns.

Altered or tampered merchandise will not be accepted. We watch carefully for tampered

merchandise and fraud charges will be filed against consumers who damage product to falsify claims for exchange or refund.

 

Refund Payments

We reserve the right to refund any amount by any method we deem necessary including the normal refund payment options but not limited to Paypal or company check (which can take up to 3 weeks until postal delivery.) Please Note: No refund will be made if negative feedback has been placed regarding the transaction. Once negative feedback is placed, we determine the transaction to be ended regardless if refund has not been made.

Refunds will be made for the final auction amount. Shipping charges that were paid by the customer for the original shipment will be refunded according to our discretion. We reserve the right to refund in whole, in part or decline the shipping amount for the refunded item based on the circumstances. Shipping charges for items being returned to us are non refundable.

 

Damaged Merchandise

If merchandise is received and has been damaged by the shipping company, you must contact us and give the detail of the damage problem. We will contact you and get the necessary information in regards to filing a claim with the shipping company and will provide the necessary information in regards to the process. Please Note: All freight claims must be settled with the freight carrier before issuing a refund.

 

Warranty Information

eBay provides the N.E.W. warranty which is offered for every eligible item we offer on auction.  If you are unsure of the item on auction, please check into the N.E.W. warranty to protect your purchase with a warranty This is the buyers responsibility. If any item does not include warranty coverage and a warranty is not purchased for any item, we cannot and will not accept a return, make an exchange or refund the amount of the item should it become defective. We do not provide warranties unless otherwise stated in the auction description. Any warranty obtained with the product purchased must be handled by the warranty provider.
